I don't exactly know why Ms. I is being let go from cheerleading coach, but what I do know is that the three years that I got to spend with her and Ms. M were the best three years of my life. I was extremely happy and proud to be a part of their team. Being part of her team made me a person that always tries there hardest and strives to be the best they can be. There is nothing better then a coach knowing your potential and encouraging you to push yourself to your utmost success. Ms. I loves coaching and only want the best for the girls. We all had a dream going into national and with Ms. I standing behind us we knew that dream was possible. It saddens me to know what has happened and I believe it is a huge mistake!

Not exactly sure what's going on. From sophomore year of high school I had the Privelge of being coached by Cherise Iacono (Ms.I) along with Christina Lotito (Ms.M) . I was given an opportunity to cheer for one of the best teams on Long Island and was always pushed to be the greatest I could be on and off the cheer mat. I was even so lucky to be chosen as a captain of the team my senior year . Ms. I believed in me. The hard work and determination ethics instilled in me by SEVC have led me to be the successful registered nurse and individual I am today. The next generation of sachem east cheer needs to have the support and talented coaching skills of Ms.I. Don't let this mistake happen!

I am not sure what the reason was for letting Ms. I . go, but I just want you to know it really doesn't make any sense. My daughter was on SEVC from 9th grade through 12th grade. Those were the best years of her life and it was because of her coaches. I also worked closely with them to help with the fundraisers and to handle the moneys for each of the girls accounts. Ms. I has always been very good with the girls. She was always very proud of their hard work and never made anyone feel that they were treated any less than the others. They were a team and did so much together. Basically, they were a family. I loved that my daughter was a part of this team and feel that without the inspiration of the coaches that they wouldn't have done as well as they did. To be a part of any sports team you need to work hard. Always keep your eyes on the prize and they wanted to show everyone how proud they were to be a part of this amazing team. I feel that because of her years on this team, my daughter has grown in to such a responsible adult. She graduated from college and is working full time now. Letting this coach go is a HUGE mistake for this team.
