In local
boarding facilities the animals that are kept in housing are free to walk and
run, have access to fresh water, are exercised twice a day or for at least 20
minutes a day and are well cared for. Tragically, the animals that are kept at
Tarraray Pet Retreat in Bonville, NSW seem to be locked in hot stuffy rooms
with no air ventilation, no access to a toilet and just one glass window which
is located at a height where they cannot see anything outside. The pets owners
have found their pets are eager to be released when picking them up from
boarding, not only this but there have been a lot of issues concerning the
welfare of the animals. I believe this issue needs to be resolved as many pet
owners want the best for their pets while being away. In order to give these
animals a voice, the locals of Coffs Harbour have initiated a petition against
Tarraray Pet Retreat and it is open for all animal lovers around the local area
and online.
Please help
put an end to the cruelty that has been reported by many who have either had
their animals there, or have left with their animals who have seen the
conditions that they are expected to endure. Add your name to the petition to
pressure the council of Coffs Harbour City and any other available agency to
immediately perform an inspection on Tarraray Pet Retreat, Bonville, NSW.
I, the
undersigned, hereby request that Tarraray Pet Retreat, Bonville NSW immediately
reinstate the code of practice stated through the AWL website. A lot of well-known
boarding facilities give the boarding pets an outdoor area that is big enough
for the animal to stretch out, walk, exercise and play etc. Please stop the
cruel confinement of these animals.
THESE PEOPLE ARE A DISGRACE TO THE ENTIRE BONVILLE AREA. SHUT THEM DOWN.
