It's high time we worked harder to prevent bicycle theft in the District. Too many of us have had our bikes stolen by brazen thieves. We get back to where we locked our bikes only to see them gone. Please sign this petition to encourage the DC Metropolitan Police Department to take new measures to combat bike theft.

It's as simple as that.

Your signed petition will be forwarded to your District Lieutenant. The MPD already has successful measures to fight bike theft crime. They simply need to devote more resources and manpower to the initiatives. Your signature will let MPD know that preventing bike theft is important to the community.
