"Chief of Gbese Traditional Area, Nii Ayi Bonte, made a promise to abdicate if the National Democratic Congress is defeated in the December 7 elections. According to the Former Board member of Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak, if Nana Addo is voted as the president of Ghana after 7th December, and subsequently becomes the substantive president of Ghana come 7 January, 2017, he will destool himself."
