Pets provide amazing support for families in a variety of ways. Rabbits make great pets and are actually easier to house train than cats. They generally are very quiet animals as they do not bark, meow, tweet or cherp. I can’t understand why a family who gives up so much already so that a father can serve for your country should be asked to yet again give something else up that they love. How about at least a visit to the Home to see how they look after their Bunny and how much it is part of their family.

Isn't it stressful enough for this family to have a deployed family member? They shouldn't have to worry about losing a beloved pet, too.

Rabbits as pets are quiet, do not smell, are clean in their litter tray habits. They are a common pet and are no longer considered exotic. Please update your policy.

Rabbits are very well-behaved, litter box trained, indoor pets. Compared to a dog- they do not make any noise and are not a threat to anyone or any other animal.
