This beautiful bunny is no more a problemthana stuffed toy. If you will allow dogs, cats and birds on base then this harmless bunny should be top of the list! How can you fotce a family to be separated from their beloved pet when they are already having to deal with being separated from a parent on deployment is heartless and shocking. Please rethink your decision very carefully and show them compassion at a time when they may need it most.

Rabbits are not in any way harmful, they are loving and intelligent creatures. The emotional support we get from being bunny owners is priceless to our wellbeing - especially for the children. Don't take this bun away from the children especially, you do more harm than good.

Very unfair that the housing will allow dogs but not rabbits!

Rabbits are very easy to care for and do not cause damage therefore should be allowed!

I am the owner of two rabbits. They help me emotionally far beyond what words can really express. I cant imagine the stress a military family goes through, but I know how much my buns help me and can only imagine how much that sweet girl Lola helps her family. The owner is also right, rabbits are far less destructive than most dogs and even cats!

Please have mercy and allow this family to keep their beloved pet! That bunny is completely domesticated, she is not exotic. She is not a farm animal. What is the big deal? She isn't causing any problems whatsoever.. the pictures speak a thousand words, too. She isn't causing ANY problems, nor is she destroying anything. The only thing this bunny could even break is maybe hearts. Which is what you'll do if you can't retract your threat and orders.
