Help Mugshot Victims

crooks. Hidden behind so called privacy proxies that are criminal . They are not suppose to hide commerce sites.

I currently have numerous websites with damaging information about me online. I will be filing a lawsuit vs these websites.

These guys are extortionate crooks and have succeeded in my losing an employer due to their false reports of charges which i had dropped, as well as a horrible mug shot. I ask to opt out, only to be contacted by "clean search" wanting a large "administrative fee" to remove my picture and information. Is this not extortion?? I have half a mind to go after these guys for punitive damages and would be very interested in joining any current class action lawsuit against them and/or their affiliates.

According to the law in NJ, only level 2 and level 3 sex offenders must be registered online. However, these mugshot sites are essentially registering everyone who has been convicted and arrested for anything. They are effectively overriding the law that requires level 2 and 3 sex offenders to be registered on a sex offender site by registering everyone. Some lawyer should try this legal reasoning. These non-different that extortionist organizations are hurting the job market, hurting people for mistakes, some innocent and others simply in the wrong place, wrong time. These "businesses" extort money from those who often do not have the money to pay $400-thousands to have their mugshots removed. These companies like mugshot offer no true gaueantee that the mugshots will be removed nor start removed. These pictures are ghost expect u have to pay thousands to have them banished with no guarantee they won't come back. To those who work for such companies you much really hate people, no care, no hommanity, and I could go on but we will keep this civil.

Hi everyone, I am a student studying public policy at the University of Minnesota, with a focus on criminal justice reform, and I am writing my master's paper on this topic. My goal is to gather information from around the country, especially those states that have already passed legislation to try and address this issue, and then come up with recommendations for policy makers in Minnesota and elsewhere to pass new bills that will truly end this practice. If anyone would like to speak with me, either about the harm these websites have caused you personally or your work in trying to get states to pass laws to put an end to this awful practice, please let me know. I'm also curious if people who live in those states where bills have been passed can speak to whether they've actually had their intended effect. If you know of advocacy groups that are lobbying state legislatures about this issue, please let me know. Im a victim of this scam.

Personally I have experienced companies like mugshots.com doing tremendous damage to myself and those who were either accused wrongly and case thrown out of court or of a misdeameanor, civil or non civil matter. I graduated with honors with a BS in Economics and business and worked very hard with 2-3 jobs, 2 small children and as a single mother only to find myself defending myself from harm and being accused of assault (first person to report "wins"). The case was thrown out but it didn't stop companies like mugshots.com from posting my mugshot. I found myself desperate for any job I could find, even being turned down for $8/hr jobs. My father had passed away 3 weeks before graduation as well, in my arms. The people at mugshots.com did not care that I was innocent, that I was being turned down for work at every turn and had a family to support. They accused me of harassment after I simply told them I'm not paying $399.00 for something they shouldn't be posting in the first place. The man hung up on me. When I called back he accused me of harrassment! I never cursed him or even yelled at him! I was simply trying to tell him how damaging their publishing of these photos are to myself and others, he simply did not care. How they sleep at night and tuck their kids into bed knowing they are harming others with families or even just trying to make a life for themselves is beyond my comprehension. The only thing to gain is money for the price of their souls and the harm they bestow onto others should be unlawful. If anyone operating this petition wishes to contact me feel free! I will gladly do whatever I can to help, however I am a laborer in construction (being that I never was hired for my knowledge gained from my hard earned degree) so I do not have money to help. Even if I had money I would never give it to scammers at mugshots.com or any company like them!

mugshots.com is posting my mug for profit of removal.

For whatever reason Mugshots.com has acquired my photo and posted false information about me. How do I get this false information taken down? Mugshots.com is a complete fraud. I can't believe nothing has been done about this website and others like it. This is not right at all.

What is being done on mugshots.com is plain wrong and should be ILLEGAL. I do not want MY NAME, HOME ADDRESS and PHOTOS posted for anyone to see.
