Finally there is hope . Check out media coverage around their arrest of Mugshots.com owners this May 18. California attorney General has given a link to report cyber crime complaints against them using a online link.

Way too many innocent people with mugshots having their careers and lives ruined simply because of an arrest made without conviction for the alleged crimes. This MUST be stopped.

I've heard that submitting a DMCA request and court order to Google can sometimes work.
How do you get a court order?
Does Google check to see if the court order is real?
How long does this process take?

I have paid several times but new sites keep popping up. Also a website currently says i am a felon currently in prison, both are untrue has I'm not a felon nor have ever been in prison.

I was falsely arrested and booked and later cleared by court and my case was expunged and yet my mugshots are still on a webiste that does not respond: rapsheets.org...it has hurt my career, my life and my family to the point where it has been difficult to secure a job.

These online extortion cartels have to be stopped. All of their corporate information, registered agents, verified addresses & phone numbers should undoubtedly required to be verified by a state & federal agency because it is their intention to avoid receiving service of process as well as expungement orders & new state legislation requiring these soulless sociopathic companies to take down the information or face civil & criminal prosecution. I think the sites linked to this petition & supporting it should dedicate part of its mission to exposing every last bit of information regarding the people who own, work & operate these websites so it is easier for each person who’s life has been wrecked with no regard by these jerks to turn around & Sue each person involved. If you’ve lost a $75k job or job opportunity, the website & proprietor is in another state, then you most likely have a Federal Civil suit a hungry attorney will gladly take against these predatory companies.

I have received a FULL Court-ordered EXPUNGEMENT of my 25+ year-old criminal record, but Mugshots.com still refuses to obey the court order and remove my info from public view. They are immoral and despicable.

Rid one mug shot and it shows on another. This isn't fair. We all make mistakes but its tough out there and employers use the internet for employment search. I paid my dues...time to let the past lie. Death to mugshot sites !!!

I want my sons picture and info on mugshots.com removed. He isctrying to rebuild his life and this is devastating to him. His crime is alcoholism. He has an interloken device has held a job but cannot find a job worthy of a college graduate because of this site. He is now severely depressed. Hopefully I can suit those ****** someday

I'm 64 yrs old disabled vet on social security. I lost my part-time job and my seniors community apartment because because of RapSheets.org 6 months after I completed probation.
