The Florida Legislature. I wrote to the Governor of Florida and he told me to contact the owner of MugshotsinFlorida. I sent an email and never heard from the jerk. That webpage is owned by someone called Julkisuudessa Nevis, West Indies. If this is a foreign owned site his page should be blocked by google. The united States helps Nevis financially. So why should the U.S. help Nevis if they hurt families here by posting families loved ones who are dead. Tell me what purpose does that serve. You are going to have to be more aggressive to get 1000 signatures. Go to Congressmen and women. Rebecca

I was never in trouble, never! Then we move to Florida, I defended myself, had witnesses, but because my marks were little, and the other person had a lump, I was arrested. I thought that was the scariest day of my life, but the officers in the jail were telling me, "this is nothing hun, you're going to be just fine, don't worry" meanwhile, I was mortified. Come to find out, yeah it worked out, the charges were dropped and I went home after 24 hours. As soon as I was released, I stopped at a gas station for a drink, my mugshot, that i never wanted to see myself, let alone the entire world, was staring at me from the front page of mugshots.com magazine. 24 hours in a county jail was punishment enough, now a magazine! Three years later, im still being punished by these people, my charges were dropped right away by the court, but yet i Google my name-my mugshot comes onto the screen, the fear I had at the time of the arrest, just hits me harder and harder every time. I start shaking as if it was happening all over again, now i know why i failed to be hired by so many companies i was well qualified for. Please, if people knew there was a petition to sign, in order to get the ball rolling, they would have signed it already; we need to get this out there. I know many, who have the same fear.

This is pathetic and disgusting.. I beat up a drug deal for selling acid and guns o 12 year olds when I was 16.. My record was expunged and I was given y full rights back and pardoned from the Governor.. I asked them to remove my info and they insulted and attacked me, calling me "Little lady".. These people are criminals with criminal backgrounds and they are being allowed to extort us.. please stop this. It's not right..

People make mistakes in life and life alone is tough. Extortion rings like Mugshots.com parading others mistakes and CHARGING the person to take down the information to simply place it on some other sister web page to only charge, again, for the removal of the same information need to be taken down and their owners/management teams need to be prosecuted.

Justmugshots.com is presently victimizing me over an arrest from eight years ago that was dismissed and expunged. This defeats the purpose of the expungement statute in Mississippi and is still showing up prominently in search engine results. I've written them repeatedly asking that it be removed with no response.

My cousin committed suicide because of the repercussions of his mugshots all over the Internet. He couldn't get hired anywhere. He felt like a burden to his family so decided to end his life. He was only 27.
