We definitely need Mr. Lalonde as the Vice Principal of the school. He has shown tremendous effort to improve the system and education of this school. We and our kids need him.

Mr L has helped reduce the bullying at the school. He has made it a safer place for kids to come to on a daily basis.

Since coming to Fairmount Mr Lalonde has been an incredible addition to the staff at the school. He has been extremely valuable in making the activities at the school run smoothly and well organized. He has also been invaluable in the daily administrative goings on at the school. Even in doing all of this he finds the time to make one on one contact with students on a regular basis, and in doing this has an immeasurable impact on the students. It would truly be a disservice to lose him at Fairmount.

Mr. Lalonde is imperative to everyday functioning of Fairmount Public School. He advocates for students’ rights, overlooks their well-being and safety. Students and parents are always able to talk to Mr. Lalonde and get any issues/concerns addressed in timely and efficient manner.
As parents, we feel safe about our children, knowing Mr. Lalonde is working at school.
As parents, we believe that mr. Lalonde’s position should be is enhanced, not eliminated.

From the first week Mr.Lalonde came to Fairmount he remembered my daughter's name. Some of her teachers probably never pronounced her name properly during the entire school year but he learnt it in the first week. He has been so positive around her. He is really involved with the students. All of her extra curricular activities he been apart of. The basketball team, the volleyball team and ultimate frisbee. She looks up to him as a voice of fairness and a voice that reprimand when needed. My daughter loves having him in her school and I think the role he takes on with the students is necessary and needed at Fairmount. I sincerely hopes the board reconsider this move and give the students the vice principal that they love and respect. Please keep Mr Lalonde at Fairmount.

Mr. Lalonde is a great asset for Fairmount. He raises the energy level of the kids by engaging them in various physical and outdoor activities. Besides, he brings the kids together and motivates them to participate as teams. I hope that Mr. Lalonde can continue his great work and be part of the Fairmount family.

Mr. Lalonde has been instrumental in the growth and leadership building with our students. He has introduced some fantastic programs, supported student groups, and held a strong role with the School Council to help bridge administrative and staff needs/goals with parents vision. The VP role alone in our school has proven to be necessary and beneficial but beyond that Mr. Lalonde is a role model for many of the students who look up to him. It would be a significant loss to the school if Mr. Lalonde was to leave.
