As a wedding planner, I know how crutial it is for the makeup team to come to our bridal party on the day. A wedding day is already so stressful and jam packed, we don't allow our brides to go to a makeup studio. This law needs to change!

Let's not take away from those out there trying to make an honest living for their families. How about changing laws to push more people to work instead of making it harder.
Allow Idaho Artists to work and do what we love! We sculpt light, make characters, highlight beauty, and work with all aspects of advertising. Make Idaho attractive to entertainment industry-leading Film production we have the ttalent . Freedom for Makeup Artists!!

I'm a owners stylist and makeup artist in boise, and onsite services are my thing for weddings, fitness competitions and Idaho miss Idaho pageant. And all my clients love that I do offer that. I do believe you should be licensed but I don't feel it should be illegal for a licensed Hair/makeup artist to get a client ready out side the facility. I always keep my stuff sanitized and extra bags for soiled tools.

This has always been something I've felt needed addressed. Restricting work to a licensed location in this mobile world is unnecessary in many situations.

This law is useless. What matters is that proper care is taken in the sanitizing of brushes and equipment, not the location services are performed st. As long as all tax laws are being followed by the artist then why would it matter where they are performing their services?
