From a makeup artist to your team: I back you girls 100%. There's enough work to go around, however, true talent is hard to come by. Xoxo

Being a photographer I need to be able to refer clients to makeup artists that are flexible and able to travel "on location". Some venues are out of town or not near a salon/spa. Also, some events require more than one artist to help with all the clients friends/family. This would not be plausible to accomplish if each artist had to work out of their own salon space. Please allow for licensed freelancing artists.

As a photographer myself it is much needed that hair and makeup artists are aloud to do their job onsite, especially for weddings. A lot of couples have weddings far away from there preferred artists and it would make it much easier for everyone if they could be onsite! Also a lot of people change outfits and hair/makeup in photoshoots 3-4 times a shoot which needs to be done onsite.

Please help this law be fixed! I recently moved here from Seattle and had no idea how I was practicing wasn't ok. I love the ease of freelancing for both myself and my clients. I can't imagine getting married and running all over the place on my wedding day just to get everyone ready. Freelancing needs to be supported!

Professional makeup is an essential component for weddings and special events. As a McCall resident, I recognize the difficulty in attaining these services. Being able to access services that can travel is a neccessity.

People need the option and convenience of having hair N makeup professionals coming to their location for MANY reasons. This law is outdated and hurts many people in idaho. This law must be changed!

Prohibiting freelance work discourages growth in the industry and people from making a living. Being able to work on location is a HUGE part of any production whether personal or professional, and is a huge part of being a hair and/or makeup professional.

The laws need to change! My business relies on hair and makeup artists to be able to work off site. I know many licensed artist who already do so without knowing they're breaking the law! This seems like such a needless and silly law. Please consider revising this.
