Help M•N•M change Idaho's freelancing laws

The audacity of this law, speechless!! I support this petition for change. Hang in there, I believe in due time change will be achieved :-)

Please change this law! It makes no sense!

Way to stand up ladies!

The current law in Idaho is and will prevent people from doing business outside a spa or salon. For example, a bride on her wedding day could not pay someone to do her hair and makeup on location. A movie being shot in Idaho could not pay local makeup artist to do makeup on set. This will stop companies from shooting commercials and films in Idaho. A Ridiculous law in my opinion. Most other States do not have or have thrown out laws like this.

I always thought this was stupid!

It makes no sense that a photographer can get paid to go off site and yet a hair stylist or makeup artist cannot. This law needs changed now!

Every girl deserves to be pampered by beauticians and beauty believers that love makeup as much as I do!!

As a liscenced cosmetologist in the states of Idaho and California, it is crazy how behind Idaho is with its regulations. Being able to freelance in today's ever busy beauty industry is A MUST!! Please, please help this state stay up with surrounding industries by allowing legal and regulated freelance work for Cosmetic and cosmetology.

Let's make this change and support these talented men and women.

We need these amazing ladies with their talents to be legal on site, it's an absolute must.

Freelance hair and makeup is a complete necessity in Idaho. I had my hair and makeup done with stylists on site for my wedding and can't even imagine trying to do it again without it. Since when do we live in a country, let alone state, that discourages entrepreneurs? If stylists have their own liability insurance/business covered why is it different than any other profession? We live in the best country. Why should we limit entrepreneurs trying to build their business? Cosmetologists have natural talent and not everyone can do it. Limiting artists is only going to discourage people from following their dreams and building their own business.

Time for a change!

For a bride not to be able to get her makeup done professionally on the most exciting day of her life because Idaho doesn't allow makeup artists to apply makeup somewhere other than a storefront seems overreaching. I believe they should form their own business and follow certain standards for cleanliness. This law prevents people from growing their small businesses and contributing to the local economy.

Antiquated and ridiculous! Many laws need to be changed there, this is ridiculous though!
