Hello everyone
My name is Mia Monroe, 21 years of age from Hartford, CT. I am Transgender woman trying to send out a strong message. Recently i joined flim Director Felix K. Dones and Hartford based Latino Community services to act in a flim titled Melancholy. It succesfully did really well with thousands of likes and shares on facebook. Now i want Ellen, Laverne Cox, Carmen Carrera, Madonna and many other inspiring people that care about our community to watch our project. Our project did so well it ended up on WFSB my local news station in Rocky Hill. If you are with me, please sign this petition so we can continue to spread awarness around the world. The video had such a powerful meaning and I applaud you and everyone who participated in the video.
I met you 3 years ago at Dean College and I have followed your story since then. I'm not transgender but I know what it's like to be told who people think you are and to get so low suicide crosses the mind. I support EVERYTHING you're doing and I wish you all the best! Keep being amazing.
My friend took her own life because of her confusion about her sexuality and being bullied for it. All lives matter!

I'm signing the petition because I've been there before. For over 13 years I have struggled with attempt of suicide. Multiple times in my life I have tried to commit suicide. I feel like I'm more in control of the urges I usually get because of my kids. I know everyone needs support and I'm happy that I have such wonderful family & friends that support me.
