Australia must do better than imprisoning innocent schoolgirls. This is wrong on every level.

Peter Dutton, Release this person immediately, in Australia we have something called 'freedom of speech' and it is not abandoned when it is inconvenient to a political party. You are attacking our democracy, stop it. Immediately.

taking a young woman away from school a few months before she is due to complete year 12 and keeping her in detention because there isn't "enough evidence of her rape" is so ridiculous it's hard to imagine this is Australia.

It is sad what politicians have done to Australia in regards to our international reputation on our humanitarian stance. . The manufactured fear of refugees, migrants and asylum seekers coming into our country to steal jobs, access our once decent welfare system and the politically driven terrorist aspect should be not be condoned or accepted. Australians are a caring and tolerant nation...Australians do have a heart and the stance by the LNP and the ALP government on refugees and asylum seekers are cowardly and unacceptable.

I do not understand how it can be legal to detain this young woman.

How can we allow this to happen here in Australia. It is just not good enough.

She needs to be released and allowed to stay with her husband and friends...she is not a criminal but a human being who has done no wrong and has suffered enough already.

I applied for a partner visa onshore and I think Mojgan should be given the same opportunity. I'm English, she's an asylum seeker. Who has the real need?

It took a body of a 3 year old washed up dead on a beach to stir the Australian Government into action about taking more refugees from Syria. Do we have to wait until the bodies of young people seeking asylum from persecution, who are already in detention centers are flashed across the media media to get justice for them too.
