This young woman's detention is a heinous political exercise. She is no danger to Australia, she is married to an permanent resident, she had demonstrated her determination to be a good member of our society. Let her free to live with her husband and stay her new life here.

Why be so cruel? She is a woman of great promise and would be an asset for Australia. Her reason for fleeing shows that this is yet another case of the government being all talk and no action when it comes to the treatment of women refugees.

This is plain Ridiculous that we all have to do this. Unbelievable. We pay the wages and employ these horrendous people who are meant to run our Country by utilizing the wishes of their paymasters. But instead they've decided to become undemocratic and RULE Aust. Can we stop their wages??????? The People who pay you say - FREE THESE POOR Asylum seekers!!!! NOW. Or you are sacked.

Australian government should show some compassion in a genuine special circumstances. as one aboriginal elder said, now they know what it's like to have others come to Australia that don't tick.all the boxes, they don't like it. this person is a human being, not some alien from another planet. the way the Australian government treat boat people by sending them to png & naru is wrong morally & ethically. Australian government are big enough to take off this situation instead of bribing our poorer cash strapped neighbours with money they desperately need to do Australia's dirty work. these people have no future in these 3rd world countries. stories coming out of png where boat people have been granted asylum living on the streets as beggars. They have joined the large numbers of unemployed. totally unacceptable, wrong, wrong, wrong. Shame on the government.

I'd rather have active ASIO files identifying every street protestor so that these facilities could be used to intern those biggest who fear showing their faces and hide behind Soithern Cross bandanas! And yes, I would be happy to have an ASIO file of me at peace rallies, political rallies such as Zlet them Stay. I have nothing to hide, unlike the Governments and Opposition politicians.
