Compassion and understanding must be the basis of our acceptance of persecuted and fearful women and young girls seeking safety and asylum in Australia. Make this happen for this woman please!

I ask the Australian Government to free Mojgan from detention immediately! As an Australian I am disgusted at our governments ruling!

This young woman should be free to live in the community to continue her life with her husband. She has not committed a crime, in fact she is the victim of crimes against her!!!!!

As an older Australian it makes me feel ashamed to live in a country who's laws treat this abused young woman so unjustly. Peter Dutton has the authority to intervene and show some humanity. If he and the LNP refuse to do so he should resign as he is not fit to hold his position.

Everybody loses from this situation- love is lost, the people of Australia (like myself) lose faith in their government, Australia loses respect and loses its good reputation abroad. Let's gain something from this- let's gain love, let's gain back our reputation as the best country in the world, let's gain respect from UN, lets show compassion, let's lead.

We must continue to do all that we can to see Mojgan released to be with her husband and family. Australia's government must show some compassion and discover their humanity.

For goodness sake, let the poor girl go back to her husband. Have some compassion, it's shameful.

Peter Dutton should override his departments inhuman decision and allow this young lady to remain in this country.
