This young woman is suffering first from the oppressive sexual victimisation that seems to pervade some cultures and second from the Australian Government's inflexibility when determining cases outside the strict refugee definition. We think she is being shamefully treated by Australian officialdom. She would obviously be a great citizen of our country.

The minister for immigration should be permanently exiled to a desert island for his role in all the abuses of this kind that he has perpetrated since his appointment to this position. He appears to be an over zealous and supremely ignorant bigot.
