If the Australian Government has any shred of decency, I have faith this story will have a happy ending; but first, the good fight must be fought. So in whatever way I can, I'll join in this campaign to see compassion and humanity triumph. Let's get Mojgan her life back.

The cruelty of this is breath taking. I realise that the ability of the government to behave humanely is limited by the inflexibility it has imposed on itself in its desire to show its toughness, but it is time to grow up.

Minister Dutton why would you persist in denying this young woman Australian residency? What has she done to deserve such contempt from you? I would think that your utter contempt for her demonstrates a lack of ability to do your job. She's educated herself against all the odds and will surely make a substantial contribution to this country. This instance reminds me of the NT story around children being detained in Australian Detention centres and their appalling treatment at the hands of so called 'prison officers'. Thugs would be a much better description.

How did we become so uncivilised. We live wonderful lives in Australia ... have we become so greedy that we can't share some of what we njoy with those less fortunate, vulnerable and in danger. Please release this young woman who will become an asset to our country!
