Yet more cruel evidence that we have become a criminal state. Time for the international community to impose economic sanctions on Australia to force us to face up to our responsibilities. Free her now!!

As an Australian born, I am disappointed. so sad to hear what has happened and hope to god that some sense can be knocked into the people responsible for all of this, so this young lady can live a happy and joyful life alongside her husband.

Security needs a specific objection in this case. Just being an immigrant is not adequate. They appear as a desirable couple. lets be generous.

This is appalling. Let these people be together. Clearly neither are a terrorist threat. The rules are unfair.

Is there no end to the callousness, inhumane actions and hypocrisy of this totally unethical Government??? All Australians should be making themselves heard against this Government's treatment of asylum seekers and refugees or we will never be able to hold our heads up again amongst decent people and countries.

Has our country gone made. This young lady is married and weeks away from completing an education. Sending her away from life here to face persecution is just plain cruel.

getting rid of tony abbott would just be the first step in turning around the vicious direction in which Australia is heading. alas, the Labor party seem to have lost any direction with their current leadership.

Please free this woman who has committed no crime. Seeking asylum is no crime. She should be reunited with her Australian husband and given a spouse visa.

I'm P&C Vice President at the school Mojgan attends. Her removal has devastated staff and students. She is not a criminal. I am sincerely concerned about the impacts on Mojgan and the broader community. What sort of world are we creating. What sort of example are we showing to/teaching our children. Australia, where are our ethics? #FreeMojgan
