I am a historic Springfield resident and homeowner and am fully supportive of the Walnut Inn. Small businesses are vital to the growth and development of our historic community, and limiting the hours of this long-established institution not only hurts our community growth, it affects other businesses that may seek to make Springfield home.

We own a house across from the bar and run a business next. Always has been a good neighbor and never an issue with later hours. No reason to restrict them at this point.

As a resident of Historic Springfield and a Duval County taxpayer please allow The Walnut Inn to operate with the same business hours as they have for the past 30 or so years. We need as many small businesses as we can get here in our neighborhood.

I ask that you listen to the good citizens of Springfield, and allow us this piece of history. It is Springfield residents who wish to keep this tax paying entity alive. The city needs the revenue, and, Springfield needs to know the City Representatives, are thinking of Springfield.
