- I have always wanted a pet pigeon and my Mum said if I get 400 people sign a petition I could get one with my money!! My cat recently died and I am really lonely :( so if I could get one I would be really grateful!! I’ve done all my research and know what they eat how to keep them happy and what I have to buy ect so please sign this if you can thanks

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the way people have shown up for this dream. I started this just hoping for a few signatures but you all have turned this into something much bigger than I ever imagined.

Pigeons are the loveliest pets. I rescued two babies with the intention of letting them free when they were older, but they never flew away. They stay with us and always nap on our lap and perch on our shoulders. Show this to your mom!!!! Pigeons make great pets
I have one myself (rescue) and they are the best birds! They are the perfect size to pick up and carry and they can't hurt you like other birds (parrots,macaws)!!
Pigeons make wonderful pets. They’re docile, friendly , and arguably smarter than cats. Much more eco-friendly too as they eat a small amount of seeds, rather than other animals. They don’t make a lot of noise either.
My pigeon cured my depression and is literally the only reason I get enough vitamin d to not be considered critically deficient lmao.

Pigeons make great pets but are a responsibility as any pet. They require plenty of time to spend with them, time for exercise and outside cage time (or no cage at all). Please, be aware they poop so cleanup is a daily chore.
