The Mendo coast needs to develop it’s mountain bike and hiking tourism. There are plenty of other areas to log.

The trails in the JDSF are the sole reason I go to Mendocino. They are amazing and we are so fortunate to have incredible places like JDSF in California. It is what makes this state a special place in the world. It would be a travesty to ruin JDSF.

The JDSF trail system is a state/national gem. Please find a balance of minimizing trail impact/downtime and maximizing trail network access while the harvesting operations commence. Don't overlook the economic impact cycling/hiking/eco-tourism has on the local economy and prioritize while planning. Keep the JSDF awesome!

I enjoy the trails there at the JDSF. The JDSF recreational trails are the only reason I have traveled to and stayed in the Mendocino area for the past 5 years. I won't come otherwise.

Please save these trails, they bring 1000’s of cyclists per year to Ft Bragg, and Mendocino.

This community needs this to survive. Curtail the logging. In the long haul people will pay more to see the beauty of a place more than the short term profit of resource extraction can give. In perpetuity..Think about it.

I support public lands access and forest conservation. I support well planned limited timber production and harvest that minimizes large impacts to recreation and wildlife.
