this is madi and megan, two girls whose lives were changed by five boys who made videos from the bottom of an empty staircase. Madi is in LA and Megan is in Texas, so they have never been able to meet, however the girls FaceTime, call, text, and any other way you could think of for two complete strangers who live very different lives, to become best friends. Madi and Megan are the owner and coowner of the account @our_boys_from_the_stairs and several other pages. Together, they have a following that reaches the hundreds of thousands. They have created a virtual family on their one direction account @our_boys_from_the_stairs where they guide a community of people that was brought together with One Direction in mind, however they have gone on to post their personal stories, experiences and advice for anyone that may need it. It shocked them when Madi first shared her story and it rendered hundreds of responses from fans of the boys who struggled with various issues and needed someone to talk to. That someone became and remains Madi and megan. As they continue to grow their various pages, their family grows and they decided it was time for these two friends to meet. Whenever faced with a problem, the other instantly steps in to help whether its sending flowers and chocolate, building a hashtag, sending loving messages, and now flying across the country so the other can see One direction.
