Seriously what could it hurt to give her the accommodations ahead of time. I feel that not giving it to her will be negative attention to the school & esp the cheer coach whom I already question now. You go Maddie!

Madison should be able to tryout, is is a student at the school and should be treated the same as all the rest of the stundents even if she does have a disability. Her disability never stoped her before so it shouldn't stop her now!

Everyone deserves a chance. She's just asking for two small accommodations. Not a kidney...

My daughter Emy is a 9 year old (3rd grade) Special Needs All Star cheerleader in Oklahoma. We have schools here that are giving opportunities to special needs students to cheer at their schools and school events. Every child no matter their disability deserves to stand and cheer on their classmates, if it's something they love. Maddie deserves that happiness in her life. Most people have awareness for people with special needs. But it's better to show acceptance! Accept that they are human and want to be apart of the world they live in! Good luck, Maddie! We are rooting for you in Oklahoma. Much love from Tiffany and Emy (Okla. Twisters Shining Starz)
