I'm a sports photographer and have photographed a middle school cheer team with a member who had downs and this mother is absolutely correct it was a great experience for ALL the kids on that team. The fact this petition is even necessary is indicative a new cheer coach is needed for this particular team asap.

No child should not be left behind. I quirk with special needs and also coach special needs cheer team. Madison should be aloud to cheer at her school. Go Madison!
