I've worked cheer comps for years & can say special needs teams are the highlight of the day. Maddie go get them, you will only make the team better. I believe if the coach doesn't agree it's her failure, big failure.

To have a great middle and a great community everyone should be allowed to participate in ANY sport. If you don't let Maddie cheer what is the school saying to the rest of the population. That only some people can make it and others just don't fit in?

It is every girls dream to be a cheerleader for school and I think every girl no matter her condition should be able to try out for the team I'm so proud of Maddie I hope she inspires other girls.
