I feel for Maddie. I hope she makes it. Usually a middle school team wants a back handspring... but they should have like clinics or camp to learn what to do or if Maddie is friends with one of the girls she could help her. I hope she makes the team!!!! With love from Indiana Cami & Acelynn

I've never meet Maddie but I am on her sister team at cheer athletics(claw6) and she personally wrote each person on my team a good luck letter and it touched my heart! She's a beautiful young lady and I think she deserves to make it!

Have they not heard of the program Sparkle?! Cheer can be a very inclusive if they want it to be, I really hope they change their mind about her

I believe that if you don't want to be on the special education team you shouldn't have to be.

I was a cheerleader for 14 years growing up- both competitively and school. I hope your daughter gets the opportunity to add experience to her life through a school cheer team because both are different. If she has a interest and knows what she is doing- it shouldn't matter if she needs a few extra days to learn it. I'll be praying for y'all and watching out for an update! Best of luck!
