I'm so sad that this is even a struggle you're having. Why in the world would they it let her cheer?!? Do they even understand the impact it would have on, not only Maddie, but the entire student body to see this? Sometimes these situations are bigger than skill level & making the team.

Good Luck to her! Never let her lose that confidence, cheerleading is supposed to be an atmosphere to build each other up while creating a good work ethic. I hope we all remember this moving forward!

My special needs child doesn't have Down syndrome but can't run the mile due to her faulty collagen and sublexing joints. Cheer is the only sport she is allowed to do and we are getting ready for middle school and a fight too. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
