School should not be able to deny a parent's request for something to be included in an IEP. It makes my heart hurt for Madison that they'd do so little to ensure she is receiving equal opportunity and the support and accommodations that she needs.
I hope this shows Coyle MS that this girl deserves a chance just like anyone else!

I have worked in special education for years and in my opinion there is a place for these special kids on every cheerleading team at every school. They would be an asset in every way!
