The Lockwood Folly inlet has a direct impact on property values on Holden Beach and Oak Island. If boaters have to travel for miles to get to a navigable inlet they will be less inclined to purchase property on these islands or the mainland lowering property values and therefore property taxes. Please allocate funds to keep this inlet open!

use the Schallote Inlet , they just did a multal Million dollar dredge there , what the hell is 6 7 or 8 miles difference will it make ? Pluss it keeps those ass holes who use the water was as a speed zone , to use the Schalotte inlet when people like me in smaller boatds are fishing from being swamped ..
and I use it when I'm down and my 21 footer has never been a problem.
