Help keep our kids outdoor toys at our flats!

Let them play outside their own homes like any other child with a garden!

It’s a joke, the children should be able to play outside same as other children with private gardens!

Some children are not able to have a garden when they live in flats so why cant they have them outside there flats , who does it hurt ?

These items of play equipment are well maintained and enjoyed by the residents who live in these flats. I think it’s a wonderful sense of community and only fair that these children get to enjoy the benefits of playing outside despite not having their own individual gardens! Let them keep them!

it Is cruel to take away this safe happy place for so many children - these flats do not have a local play area nearby ! I would like to know on what grounds they are removing them

Kids need space to play and keep healthy. Don't take it away.

I pass by this area most days, the children seem to have a great time, there is always an adult keeping an eye on them, it makes me smile seeing children playing outside and laughing instead of being stuck indoors with television on, it would devastating for all who live there to lose the equipment.

My sin is autistic and loves playing outside now.if the council restrict this the kids will want to play on the xbox more etc it is beneficial that they play outside the kids are happy why ruin it for them they are doing nothing wrongx

I don't see any issue with this. I walk pass 5 days a week 3 times a day. And it's actually very nice to see children of all ages playing outside together. And all the parents/tenants actually get along so no anti social behaviour unlike most areas in Leighton buzzard. They have their own little close community from what I see from walking past and taking this away from them would brake the children's heart's and take away their community spirit and joy of living where they do. It's safe and enclosed most probably safer than most parks in this area. Good luck to you all xx

The children's play area is well maintained and the children are supervised whilst playing. The residents have maintained the area the equipment is on and it doesn't disrupt any of the locals .....I can see no reason to make them remove the play equipment at all!!

I don't understand how its ok for our children to play in a council owned park supervised by parents but they cannot play outside their own home supervised by parents

I live close by. It's no problem at all.

Good luck! Be such a shame if they make you take all this down. It's a great example of just what we need more of - community spirit.
