Help keep our kids outdoor toys at our flats!

Seriously have the council nothing better to concern themselves with? I could certainly think of a few things! These lovely children are happy and safe and causing no harm to anyone and their parents have peace of mind. Leave them alone to enjoy their childhood, it's all too short as it is!!!!

Let the residents of the flats keep this equipment for the children that live thete. There are no playgrounds near for the children to play. At least the parents can see where their children are and that they are safe.

I walk past these flats regularly on the school drop off/pick up. It's wonderful to see those kids playing and having fun outside in a safe environment where they live. As far as I can ascertain there is no reason good enough to be asking the families to remove the play equipment .

Children outside playing and exercising..Council, leave it alone or provide toys etc for these children

Council should set those residents as an example for taking such a great care of their children&surroundings! Not destroying children's fun and breaking their little hearts by doing so!

A great example of families pulling together. Prevents neighbour nuisance complaints and the kids are safe.

I live round the corner and often drive past thinking it's a great idea for the kids who don't have their own gardens.

Seams a bit silly taking away a fun run community. A community that's run by the adults, costs zero for the council and keeps the kids entertained and out of trouble. To take away such a perfect home environment would be a crime it it's self.

Take this as far as you can and good luck. Screw the council!!

Typical, don't vote for your present c ouncillors next election. Vote for a local independent, if you have one.

Don’t live there but I think it’s important that children have somewhere safe to play and parents have interaction with other parents, I think this is brilliant. Keep going I hope you get loads of support .

Picking on a soft target. I'm sure you must have more important issues to deal with, i.e., ANTI SOCIAL behaviour, not a lovely social area that is kept safe and clean by the residents. Get a bloody life. You're bullies in suits.

Let the equipment stay for the kids and families!

I know how much this outdoor space means for my niece and her mum. It is key to her social development as it allows her to play with the other children in a space that is safely monitored by the other parents in the building.

There not doing anything wrong. At least they know where their kids are .

I don't see why the council have an issue with this, they are not being asked to do any maintenance of the equipment or anything towards the upkeep of the play area .... pure red tape!
