Help keep Odessa High School from Becoming an Afterthought

I totally agree that a change is necessary for the football players

Put fans and family plus students in a good team spirit of having a fighting chance at least.

Replace Coach Danny Servance

Odessa High school needs a couch an there staff needs to be the best in Texas. I am tried being ask about Permian High school when I go too other States . They say they never heard of Odessa High school an ask why it isn't like Permian.

This coach allowed my nephew who was on the team at the time to be bullied by the coaches and kids on the team and cost my family money on products for his use in the shower under wear and many items including hold credits from my nephew for his own reasons including cleats that I had purchased special for his plus sized foot just for braces that were covered under our insurance all while not providing COVID 19 items for the protection on the team like he said he would

I have nothing against any of the coaches at all, but losing game after game was extremely frustrating as a parent. I can’t even begin to stress how much harder it was on the players. We need a change.

We do not need a really nice guy for a coach any longer. Our West side kids deserve just as much opportunity to a good coach as the East side kids. I’m a ‘72 alumni and former football booster club president, first female ever. I would like to included in the selection process. Thank you for listening

As an alumni I am in favor of a new head coach as well.... OHS has always had the ability to win let’s give them a chance.

We a need to make a change already, we have failed to contend for many years now.

More than football. Those kids are going to grow to be members of society one day with families of their own. Not all games need to be won. As long as those players fight the fight, they're winners in our eyes. But if they don't compete or care to show effort, shame on their Coaches, not the players. Through this tenure, these teams aren't fighting anymore. Let's hope they didn't waste a teachable moment for all the players who have been getting smoked these past several years. It's not all about wins and losses, it's about what kind of character will you have when you walk off that field for the last time! It will translate.
