Help create a way for health care workers to follow during virtual visits to identify domestic violence victims
We will address the issue of women in Brooklyn experiencing domestic violence by their partner are not able/less likely to leave their partners during COVID by advocating for M aking a law that creates a procedure health care workers have to follow during virtual visits to help identify victims of domestic violence. It could even be a hand signal the victim could use to tell the doctor without having to say it out loud.

This is so needed right now. People are trapped inside with their abusers and have no way to reach out for help. A simple hand signal could literally save someone's life.
