Buffy should not be eithanized for POSSBLY protecting her owner, there is no evidence that Buffy is the dog who bit. Is the other dog owner not going to be charged for assaulting Buffy’s owner? Consider if this was any dog other than a pit bull type. Thank you.

Why wasn't the other dog examined? Why weren't the teeth measured? Just because a bully breed was involved does NOT mean it was the aggressor! Stop profiling the animal! Let her go home!

I’ve worked with dogs for over 30 years in behavior and rescue and also know the dog trainer of Buffy. There is clear evidence that Buffy did not bite the other dog, and that the woman was out of her mind and refusing to take responsibility for her own dogs, poor behavior. A reactive dog should not be allowed to go anywhere near other dogs, and she clearly said her dog and Buffy up for failure.

It appears that the bite marks should resolved this situation. Just because a dog is on a leash doesn’t mean it’s not dangerous.

Sounds like a bunch of unintelligent prejudice people in charge here?!?! The other dog should have most definitely been looked at also and held for the rabies quarantine time just in case it was the biter?!? I fail to see how bite marks that are 1 1/2 inch apart could come from a dog whose teeth are 2 inches apart!?!? And the cops didn’t willingly charge the woman for admittingly hitting you?!?! I’m praying for poor Buffy and her family to get the real Justice that they deserve!!! Far too much stereotype about Pit bulls?!?!

killing this dog would be murder. slaughtering a dog with zero evidence should be a crime in it of itself. our justice system is broken, this is known but, this dog should be spared of its cruelty. send buffy home and charge the person who BEAT buffy’s owner leaving her with a concussion. this is sickening and sad that this dog is being vilified while there is an actual criminal involved and not being held accountable. this is a no brainer.

Buffy is sweet and has a gentle nature, not vicious or aggressive and should be given back to her owner. The person who hit Buffy should be considered aggressive.

I have a bully and she is not aggressive. This dog does not deserve to be murdered.

This dog should not be murdered. He was being attacked by the other person and reacted by defending himself from the assault. Further with no history of being vicious this proves he should not be labeled vicious and lose his life

This investigation was not conducted properly. This dog should be home with it's family
