This is horrible and Buffy deserves justice!! This is why I never walk my pitbull, because I am always in fear of something like this happening. It is always the bullies fault regardless of the situation. Daly City Police should be ashamed of themselves!! Saying a prayer for Buffy and his family tonight. It’s time the world changed their perspective on the Bully breed and stop generalizing them.

I hope they look at the bite site and determine it was a small dog and not Buffy. I hope the owner is going to be ok and can get her dog back.

Please reunite sweet Buffy with her family, she did no wrong and does not deserve to be treated like this….imagine if she was your pet…please fight for this girl for doing absolutely nothing wrong except being a big dog. Shame on the owner of the Maltese for making such fabricated statements. She should be the one being punished, not this sweet girl who was in the wrong situation at the wrong time. Please do the right thing, it will haunt you forever if you make a irrational decision. This baby deserves to live and be with her family.

It’s a shame to blame a dog just because of a factious reputation they have been given. There is NO evidence that the bite was from this dog but it is well known getting in the middle of two dogs fighting or “scuffling” is going to get you bite. The dogs are focused on each other and do not realize the intention of the person getting in the middle. It was most definitely an unintended bite. It is ridiculous to end this precious life just because it is assumed this breed is vicious when in fact smaller dogs like the Maltese are known to be vicious/ biters. Don’t ignore the facts. I have to put bills and they are lovers of everything living but make no mistake they will protect their owners as they should.
