I had this happen in 2010 at my professional haunt. My site had a sprinkler system, which was not enough apparently. $30,000 later for a suppression system and electrical. I opened a week late and ended up filing for bankrupt, all due to an egotistical and greedy county/fire department. Virtually all other counties in my area didn't require what they did. It literally destroyed our dreams. I hope this ends better for you all! God bless.

Bennett's Curse is a highly professional Haunted attraction. The owners would never put their customers or employees in a dangerous situation.
The system they have installed is far superior to the required system they are being told must be installed for them to open.
Bennett's Curse has earned the right to be open this year.

Bennetts curse is one of the safest attractions I have ever seen! Myself Over 10 years in the industry Baltimore is lucky to have an attraction that cares about safety as much as they do.

Sounds like they are making the necessary concessions. Why can the city not? Especially since this attraction is a MAJOR tourist draw! Lighten up, councillors and fire marshall. Let the Bennetts scare the pants off people!

Bennett's Curse is an internationally known haunted attraction that brings huge revenues to their local community. They are very safety conscious and trained to protect their patrons crew and staff.
It would be a great loss to the community if they were not allowed to open this year.

These people deserve to open and if it wasn't an issue last year I see no reason if they have made effort to improve that it's an issue this year.
