We don't want the helicopter flying over our home all day. We expressed our concern about this several months back at council meeting. Why are we still talking about it? Did not move here to have helicopters flying over us.

Dan, As a resident for 11 years I have been happy with the direction that this town has taken and that you have been a part of. However, today I am writing to express my extreme displeasure with respect to the consideration of allowing a commercial helicopter to operate within the town limits of Carolina Beach. This type of operation will clearly reduce the value of my property and the quality of my life. This position is not in the best interest of the majority of Carolina Beach taxpayers. Please vote NO! Sincerely, Stan Piatkowski 112 Green Turtle Lane Carolina Beach, NC

No way do I want to hear a helicopter going overhead of my house every 15 minutes here in CB. Nor do I want to hear or see one while on the beach. It is a fun-filled relaxed family beach community and we don't want to go back to the days when bikers and bars ruled the day. CB has dramatically changed over the past 8 years..let's keep it the wonderful place it has become and not go the route of Myrtle Beach!

I bought a home here because it was a peaceful community. Even the infrequent helicopter operations in the past were a nuisance. As a regular service it will disturb us all the time. Like living next to an airport.

We have an airport in New Hanover county that is a safe and we'll equipped facility for aircraft. Unless you live in a development that has a landing facility for aircraft, then all aircraft should be required to use the airport for landing and take off that we are already paying to maintain. It is much safer for and cost effective for everyone.

I do not want aircraft taking off or landing in the town of Carolina Beach for safety and nuisance reasons.

I live in Myrtle Grove area and surf and play in the waters at Carolina Beach. Helicopter rides during the summer are the most severe noise pollution I have experienced in this area. Please keep recreational heli rides away.

My wife and I moved to CB to get away from the "commercial" beach. I grew up in Myrtle beach and know first hand how this is NOT A GOOD MOVE by any means. !!! Enough said w North Myrtle Beach Dec 2016 VOTING NO on helicopters because " CITY BOARD FOUND USE IS NOT IN HARMONY WITH EXISTING RESIDENTAL AND BUISNESS USES IN THE AREA AND IT COULD DISCOURAGE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT" Listen and don't make a HUGE mistake Carolina Beach!!!

I love going to our beach for the peace and quite time. Helicopters are not needed for beach tours only for emergency

I just retired after 30 yrs of teaching high school in atlanta. I am originally from eastern nc and wanted to move back home, more specifically, to the beach. I chose CB because of the old-school quaintness and affordabiltiy. The quiet of the state parks and the natural abundance of wildlife also compelled my choice to move here. The thought of a helicopter business disrupting all of the above sickens me. I would be forced to find a less frantic place to live. I moved here to see pelicans and seagulls in the air, not giant, metal, obnoxiously loud birds.

We own a property on CB because it is NOT overrun with this type of noise pollution. We look forward to disconnecting when we are there. Please don't let this go through.

This business should seek permission or approval to fly out of Ft Fisher Air Force location. Not in town and over housing.

I do not want to see these helicopter tours here on pleasure island. I live in the area of these take off and landings and it is annoying and disturbs our quiet enjoyment of living on this beautiful Island.
