Our nation's schools need HealthFIRST!
A major Health Inequity that NEEDS to be addressed immediately in our schools is that our children are NOT provided with equal access to HealthFIRST opportunities to PREVENT childhood obesity and/or its secondary diseases (diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, asthma, etc.) in the same manner as our children receive reading, writing and math education.
As a result, today’s youth will be the first generation in America’s history that will die before their parents due to this health inequity!
With HealthFIRST being on equal ground to reading, writing and math, our children can help PREVENT disease and live a long healthy and happy life!

I have been reading the stories you all are leaving in the comments and the situation is much more urgent than I first realized. It is humbling to see so many of you acknowledge that we need to treat health with the same seriousness as basic academics.

Everything else is a priority but health gets left out. Let's get these kids moving again.
WE NEED THIS PROGRAM!! My kids school could really use this. Obesity is a huge problem in our neighborhood.

Kids are sitting way to much these days. They need to move around and learn how to eat right early on.
