A major Health Inequity that NEEDS to be addressed immediately in our schools is that our children are NOT provided with equal access to HealthFIRST opportunities to PREVENT childhood obesity and/or its secondary diseases (diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, asthma, etc.) in the same manner as our children receive reading, writing and math education.

As a result, today’s youth will be the first generation in America’s history that will die before their parents due to this health inequity!
