I was the first Education Services Manager for HCDE Head Start. I was so proud to serve the families of Area One, and to work for HCDE, an organization with integrity and commitment to serving all children. HCDE and Head Start are a good fit. Please keep them together.

Head start is a vital program that promotes school readiness for children. By promoting school readiness head start also helps break the cycle of poverty in families and communities. Head start empowers low income families to strive for a better tomorrow. With out head start low income students and their families will face life changing hardships. Unfortunately, some of these students and families will never recover and be forgotten. Don't take away the glimpse of hope these students and families have.
