atleast he said when he was too tired to keep going both protecting the patient he was attending from any wrong doing, 11 hours without a break in 12 hours is becoming the norm and its not safe people need educating on use of 999 for ambulances why cant we follow the fire brigade in how they reduced their calls. it has shown on strike days we have got out to the general public to only call 999 when life threatening so why cant this continue

Fitness to practice was maintained by the paramedic stating that the "crew" were to tired to attend the patient in question. If a care/drug error was made due to tiredness then the paramedics fitness to practice would be questioned by the HCPC.

Absolutely disgusting treatment of a human being that has dedicated 3 decades to caring and often saving thousands of lives. We are quick to jump on the bandwagon when we hear about terrible working conditions around the world. How is this any different? You should be ashamed that a: he was allowed to work for 11 hours with little or no break and b: that you did not support his decision fully. Instead you have taken a cowardly stance. Shame on you.

unfortunately this seems to be happening all over the country. no consideration for emploeyees anymore at the ebd of the day we are all just a number on a payslip. This man deserves respect not sacking.

Should never have gone 11hrs without a break in the first place. Reinstate Mr Daly and investigate LAS for what seems to be a flagrant disregard for it's staff's health and wellbeing.
