The council backed down and the plans for the recycling plant were officially scrapped. My heart is so full knowing our park and the paths our kids walk to school every day will remain untouched. Thank you for staying by my side to protect this place.

One hundred of us have already signed to protect the park where our kids play. It feels surreal to see so many neighbors standing up to keep this green space safe from truck traffic.

We are on the verge of hitting two hundred and fifty signatures and I need your help to push us over that line. Seeing so many people recognize the danger this plant poses to our children at Hazlehead Primary fuels my resolve to keep fighting. Please post this link on your social media right now so we can show the council exactly how many of us demand a safer location.

leave the park alone. its the only nice bit of space left in the area
ABSOLUTELY NOT. keep our park green and safe for the children.
this is a terrible spot for a recycling centre. think about the kids crossing the road every day
too many lorries already around here without adding more to the mix. find somewhere else for it
not near a school please. have some common sense
