Skatepark needs improvement, kids, parents, people of all ages utilize the skateparks. I have been in multiple states from Hays through to Chicago, parents are involved...watching or participating with their kids. New product, skills and competitions bring in revenue...restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, hotels all benefit. This is a substantial and growing sport.

I grew up in Hays, I know how much the original skate park meant to my friends, I sign this petition to support that ideal for the current and future generations of Hays.

I had the occasion to be in Hays recently due to s friends medical reasons, and was surprised by the growth and charm of the city has. Limestone buildings still in use , brick roads, and of course Gellas! The. culture of the residents past and present are well displayed there. Skateboarding is part of american culture now. It would be nice to provide the lover's of the sport a designated area to enjoy themselves. it can only add to the attraction of this nice little city on the move.

I was living in Hays when the original park went in. My mom still lives in Plainville. I still skate; I would love to see this happen!

I am a 44 year old grant writer who has tried getting monies for an Ellis Park. Derek Hadley contacted me and offered his help.we had thought we could money for both hays and Ellis. Derek is a business owner and has worked tirelessly on this cause for almost 14 years
