The current pricing scheme is unsustainable for current and long-term residents of Hays County. The only people doing well are those who invest in properties. We need a change. Now!

LESS FREE PROGRAMS to those people who don’t pay taxes and implementing state income tax! Stop punishing the people who have worked hard to purchase their homes!!!

I have had to put my house up for sale and I am now moving to New Mexico I have lived in Texas for 55 years I was born here and now I have to move because of the oppressive tax rates

Lived here my entire life. Live in one on one of the older streets in town. Just paid off my house in October, Would like to be able to retire soon without worrying how I’ll pay taxes.
