I work in the island and have for years. It’s not fair that not one grocery store is here. The island is in need of a real grocery store.

I am getting to the age where I will not be driving. I also do not shop on line. I want to choose my own produce and meats. I need a grocery store within about 1/2 mile, so that I can walk there and bring groceries back in my wagon.

Yes, we need a grocery store.thats the reason I retired here.

97217 Has no real full service grocery store. Also, we are frequently visited by Vancouver folks who stop here to shop tax free.

A grocery store on the island would very much be appreciated.
