I fully support Irfon highlighting the National disgrace that denies crucial treatment to people who have developed Cancer.

If you can't give a young man a fighting chance, then tell me what is the point!

I find it abhorent and disgraceful that someone in the Welsh Assembly Government holds the casting vote with a blanket NO to rule over a persons right to live. Whereas i appreciate the life saving cancer drugs are expensive - each case should be looked at on its own merits. This young Dad, who not only, himself works for the NHS but has fought to raise money to cater for and to highlight the need; of remembering patients mental healths during their frightening fight for their lives. This you would argue, has nothing to do with your medical assessment of his medical case but what needs to be considered also is, he has thusfar been an amazing spokesperson for the NHS. He realises funds are compromised in 'the pot' so he and his family and friends have raised thousands in order to self-fund patients emotional well-being and mental health. This blanket approach towards the life savings cancer drugs both saddens me deeply and makes me feel despair. We URGE you to reconsider your policy!
