I am extremely lucky that my husband was able to access his injections and our surgery agreed to fund them, and I can't imagine how it would have felt if we'd been refused. EVERYONE deserves a chance, no matter how slim or whether the treatment is expensive or not - it should never, ever be reliant upon whether funding is available.
