We all know resources are scarce, or at least we're told they are, but as someone below has said, lots of us that can afford to pay for prescriptions happily accept free medicine for relatively minor complaints. The resources should go to those whose need is greatest. Irfon needs a treatment that's available. It makes no sense that he can't get it in his own country.

Agree with Julie Phillips more complex drugs are needed by some when others receive simple cheap drugs such as aspirin and paracetamols on prescription
