Hawkes Learning System is an amazing way to learn, understand, and love mathematics. In my short use of this tool I became deeply interested in Mathematics. I believe an extensive use will help a lot of students adapt to College level Mathematics

For mathematics/related subjects, the only way to learn the material is to solve assigned problems. Hawkes allowed me to understand how to solve problems on a fundamental level since it explains every single step to complex questions. Webassign/WileyPlus simply tell you if your answer is right or wrong and not much else. Hawkes has been the first online course software where I feel my money was well spent. The vast majority of students in STEM end up learning material by watching videos and doing related problems, not by sitting in on lecture- 90% of which is the professor explaining the topic to themselves at THEIR pace, which is hilariously ironic given that they've been doing it for years and everything seems 'obvious' to them. Hawkes allowed me to learn at my own pace and move on to new material having built a solid foundation of previous topics. The standard model of teaching mathematics is byzantine- if the goal of an educational institution is to teach there's no reason to avoid adopting software which both speeds up learning and increases the students' comprehension of the material. It's honestly a travesty that some of the weeder classes at CCNY exist solely to stroke a professor's ego. These topics are NOT that difficult, and Hawkes helped me understand that. I'm glad for once that one of my professors had the courage to implement a teaching model that focuses on actual education and not extraneous concepts. It doesn't matter if you're an absolute idiot or a genius- it's impossible to not know the material by the end of a class using Hawkes.

Hawkes Learning System is a great software program designed to engaged and assist students in solving questions ranging from simple to more conplex questions,it is truely a great tool to learn math.I highly recommend students to use this software,which will greatly improve students performances.

I found Hawkes Learning System to beneficial because it allowed me to learn statistics at my own pace. I was able to repeat the lessons until I learned to solve the problems. I believe all students could benefit from this technology.

The Hawkes system, along with a professor who is truly passionate about integrating the system, has truly allowed me to learn calculus. I am truly learning math, and, can finally say that math does not scare me anymore. Instead, I can say that math, with the help of Hawkes, at times reveals a glimmer of beauty. I simply love this system and am blessed to be in a class with a teacher who introduced me to it! I wish I could say the same about my pre-calc class.

When I had to repeat my pre-Calc class I feared that I would just end up failing it again. However, using the Hawks system has helped me significantly, it has boosted my confidence up once more and when it comes to math my confidence is usually low. I definitely think that this program should be used for all math classes I think this program helps a student much more than any other program I've used for math since I started college. It assists us in understanding where we went wrong, helps us step by step and allows us to practice any problems or sections more than once so we fully understand. Since using this program my grades have improved significantly.

I started struggling with math when I began Trigonometry in 11th grade. I feared for my gpa when I enrolled for math 205 but Hawkes has been nothing but helpful. I learned more from this system than I learned from my teachers in high school.

As a student who works full time, I experienced that hawkes is one of the best learning tool for mathematics. I was able to learn and be flexible at the same time while working a 40hrs job. Hawkes is not only flexible, but it also helps the professor keep track how hard a student is trying to learn the subject. Hawkes is a terrific learning tool for people that work and go to school.

Hawkes should be available to all math classes because it has been proven to be most effective for me. I would also like of it is available for all math 209 classes. Math has always be a difficult subject for me and Hawkes Learning System is giving me confidence that I've never had. College students need this program in all classes. Thank you.

It generates it own practice tests and is generally of far greater value than a textbook of far greater cost. It should be a standard tool for students.
